It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael S. Harris of East Moline, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olof Harris and Blanche Harris (Westrope); his sister Brenda Hettinger; and his pet Maggie. He is survived by: his wife Lola Harris; his children, Lisa Vranizan of Waynesville, Mark Moorcraft of Little Rock, Sally McDonald (Ken) of Tampa, Scott Harris of Seattle and Sarah DePover (Josh) of Colona; and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church or Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
