She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Thompson and Mary Campbell Thompson; and her siblings, Ada Thompson, Campbell, Sonnie, Willie and Harvey Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Remus N. Burchette; her children, Joyce Simon, Vickie Walker, Ray Walker (Stephanie Moore), Antwan Burchette (Coretta) and Antonio Burchette (CeCe); and her siblings, Albert Thompson, Emma Jean Cunningham, Betty Ann Robinson (Jesse) and Lena Thompson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
