It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Murphy (East Moline, Illinois), who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Glidewell and Dora May Glidewell (Harris); her husband James N. Murphy; and her daughter Pamela Pingel. She is survived by: her children, George Murphy (Joan), Dr. Greg Murphy (Susan), Travis Murphy (Laurel), Debbie Holmer (Brad) and Monica Brashears (Mike); her son-in-law Dennis Pingel (Cindy) of Beloit, WI.; and her sister Ailene. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
