With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Hoftender of East Moline, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hoftender and Marcella Hoftender (Opghenhafen). He is survived by: his wife Fredricka Hoftender; his children, Karen (Chris), Brian (Gina), Sharon Wilson, Amy Ward (Mike), Jay Hoftender, Tim Hoftender (Heather), Ann (Darren) and Alan Hoftender (Allison); and his siblings, Carol Klinkhammer and Dorrance Hoftender. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Visitors will be required to wear a facemask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
