He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Gardiner, Sr. and Virginia Gardiner (Rowe); his parents-in-law, Stan and Hazel Barker; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Gardiner and Susan Barker Jenson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Barker; his siblings, Art Gardiner of Cookeville, TN and Pam Gardiner (Lyle Geurts); and his brother-in-law Larry Barker (Stephanie). He is also survived by four nieces, three nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
