He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Spurgetis and Mary Spurgetis; and his siblings, Gus, George, Pete Spurgetis, Ann Cole, Evangeline Hayden, Lucille Spurgetis and Cleo Malires.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Spurgetis (Julia) of Hazelwood, MO and Timothy Spurgetis (Tiffany); his brother Nick Spurgetis (Fran); and his grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas Spurgetis of Hazelwood, MO and Springs of Colorado.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St George Greek Orthodox Church.
