He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Ririe and Margaret Ririe (Mahannah). He is survived by: his wife Diane Diercks. He is also survived by two children, six step-children, four grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, and several step-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge-Rochester, MN.
