James Laud Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Laud of East Moline, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on April 2, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Laud and Daisie M. Laud (Berdahl); and his siblings, Walter D. Laud, Kenneth W. Laud and Connie Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Saathoff; his daughter Tabitha Denys; his grandchildren, Allison, Taryn, Ethan, Maxwell, Haleigh and Damon; and his siblings, Jack Laud (Jodi), Georgia and Barry Laud (Dawn).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jim Laud Trust, which will be established and used for youth pursuing skilled trades as a profession.
