He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Bruce of Sherrard and Heath Hollis; his grandchildren, Merissa, Jenna, Alexis Nelson of Moline, Emily Bruce of Moline, Haley Bruce of Moline, Drake Hollis of Moline and Trystan Hollis of Moline; his siblings-in-law, Frank Wyffels and Helen Wyffels; his nieces and nephews, Kristin Wyffels, Moline Plutowski, Shelly Plutowski, Nicholas and William; and also Ashley Hollis.
