It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Homer Ervin Hurst of East Moline, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Homer Ervin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Homer Ervin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer W. Hurst and Iva V. Hurst (Parker); and his wife Helen Hurst. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Jean Erickson (Terry) of Hampton, IL and Michael Hurst of Davenport, IA; and his close friend Audrey Osterhagen. He is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
