He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard W. Blunt and Katherine Blunt (Scherer); his wife Leona "Lee" Glassman; his grandson Jason Blunt; and his siblings, Howard, Herman "Buddy", Dudley Blunt, Margaret Dodd, Helen Race, Clarice Cramblet and Katherine Tice.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Blunt, Julie (Gregory Tschopp), David and Caryl Eicksteadt; and his grandchildren, Chad Blunt (Gretchen), Tina Hayes Caressa (Michael), Nathan Blunt, Daniel Eickstaedt (Sarah), Phillip Blunt (Juli), Carey Stockton (Steve), Cassandra Szalo (Keiji), Alexander Tschopp and Tyler Tschopp (Heidi). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
