She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Sonksen and Juanita Sonksen (Pierce); her husband Dennis W. Owens; her son Gerald Dennis Owens; and her siblings, Arline and Jake.
She is survived by: her children, Vyrel Owens-Carr (Kevin), Linda Hawker (Chris) and Chris Owens; and her siblings, Harry, Dennis and Bernice. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
