He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Weintraut (Kofsky) and Donald Weintraut; and his brothers, Mathias, Gregory and Marc Weintraut.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Erica Lowry (Junior), Dawn Atherton (Steve) and Maria Craig; his grandchildren, Drake Lowry, Bryce Lowry, James Atherton, Tonya Freg, Jesse Atherton, Amanda Trujillo, Desiree Craig and Brandon Weintraut; his siblings, Janet Michaelsen (Jim), Liz Morrissey, Phillip Weintraut (Zelda) and Barb Zbleski (Zeke); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
