Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elsie Carmichael (East Moline, Illinois), born in Clio, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 102, on January 2, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Vandel and Rachel Vandel (Turner); and her siblings, Margaret Hinton, Cora Gatrel, Wilma Medlin, Violet Vandel, Thelma Shriver and Carl Vandel.
She is survived by: her spouse Cecil Carmichael; her children, Bill Carmichael (Judy) and Sandra Sunken (Raymond); her grandchildren, Christopher Sunken of Hampton, IL, Michelle Burnside (Sunken) and Sorento; and her great grandchildren, Erica, Perry and Layne.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hampton Grace Methodist Church.
