He was predeceased by: his parents, Edythe Broadwater Greenway and Edwin Carl Greenway; his former wife Loie Ann Mitchell Greenway; his siblings, Michael and Nancy Bladl; and his son Mitchell Todd Greenway.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his stepchildren, Shane Newton (Mary) and Tracey Greene (Darren); his daughter-in-law Emily Greenway; his daughter Michelle Birdseye (Lew); and his brother-in-law Paul Bladl. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
