He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Einar Nels Nelson and Mildred Elizabeth Nelson (Olson); his wife Joneva Nelson of East Moline; his children, Nicholaus Hansen and Daniel Hansen; his siblings, Phyllis Wilson and Dr. Don Nelson; and his grandsons, Shane, Angelo, Brady, Jacob and Andrew. He was also cherished by 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
