Darrell L. Melton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell L. Melton of East Moline, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Melton and Odessa Melton (Tucker); and his brother-in-law Dick Ernst. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Melissa Melton), Edward (Amber Case), Jessie Melton of Davenport and Jodie (John Beard); his grandchildren, Kaileigh, Chase Melton, Deak Reynolds, Jr., Rachael Kuhlman (Kyle), Caitlin Stotts, Sam, Debbie Jo Melton, Devin Melton, Shyla and Shayleen Beard; his great grandchildren, Amberly, Kenna Kuhlman, Bryson Beckhart and Naomi Melton; and his siblings, Gary (Gail Melton), Lesa Ernst of Moline, Phyllis Bell of Moline and Jeannette (Craig Porter). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family to be used to plant trees and flowers in Darrell's memory.
