He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd H. and Lillie Louise Foster (McIntosh); and his sister Connie Tittle. He is survived by: his spouses, Lorraine Janssen and Annette "Toni" Rude; his children, Lynn Welch (Dave) of Bettendorf, IA, Michelle Braun (Wayne) of Durant, IA and Chris Foster (Holly Rueda) of Bloomington, IL; his siblings, Patricia Melton (Jay) of Moline and Carroll Foster (Elaine) of Moline; his grandchildren, Scott Ramsey, Rachel Carpenter, Kelly Finck and Ollie Braun; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Gabriel and Hunter; and also Jaqueline "Jackie" Waldman.
