He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Alfred and Zettie Peters (Dotson); his wife Nancy Jean McAdams; his sons, William C. (Donna Marie Peters) and James H. Peters of East Moline; and his brother J. Dale Peters of Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
