He is survived by: his daughters, Brittany Ackerland, Jessica Rummery (Dan) and Cassidy Ackerland; his siblings, Suzanne Niner, Greg Ackerland (Barb), Scott Ackerland (Jamie) and Matthew Johnston (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Camden and Gracie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
