She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Harpenau and Frances Harpenau (Strobel); her husband Joseph M. Lavin; her children, Timothy Lavin and Victoria Quick; and her sisters, Marguerite Biever and Betty Werne.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Lavin (Kathy), Stephen (Cathy), Lynda Lavin, Jeffrey Lavin (Mary), Nancy Lavin and Joseph Lavin (Christine); her son-in-law John Quick; and her siblings, Doris Werne of Ferdinand, IN, Jeannie Gill, Sullivan and Donald Harpenau of Chrisney, IN.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
