He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Sommer and Margaret Sommer (Rustermier); his wife Vicki Lee Jacobson; his son Gregory; his daughter-in-law Sanchia Sommer of East Moline; his grandchildren, Jacob and Kaisa Sommer; his sisters, Linda Sommer of Lincoln and Kathy Wrolstad of Lincoln; his sister-in-law Deb Minch of Moline; his nieces, Theresa Wrolstad of Lincoln and Devon Renee Minch of St. Petersburg, Florida; his nephew Ryan Minch (Courtney) of Moline; and his great-niece Mariah Minch.
