She is survived by: her husband William N. Vallow Dear; her daughters, Linda Daniels (David), Karen McElhinney (Thomas), Nancy Smith (Daniel) and Donna Preston (Stephen); her grandchildren, Sarah Daniels, Aaron Daniels (Emily), Hannah Daniels, Leah Daniels, Kathryn McElhinney, Amelia McElhinney, Victoria McElhinney, Rachel Smith-Hovermale (Adam), Matthew Smith (Alexis), Andrew Smith, Anna Smith, Deborah Smith, Kelly Preston-McKeon (Michael), Patrick Preston and Thomas Preston; her great grandchildren, Nadia McIntyre and Finley Hovermale; and her brother Thomas Brand (Myrla). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
