As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Arlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard Watkins; her nephew Leonard Mazanek (Susan); her great-nephew Scott Mazanek; her great-niece Kristen Karpierz (Dan); her brother Leonard Mazanek (Virginia); her parents, Edward Mazanek and Mae Mazanek; her stepfather John Paclik; and also, Chloe and Mia Karpierz.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
