He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lufkin and Bernice Lufkin (Traynor); his wife Ruth Ann Carr; his grandson Shawn Thompson; and his siblings, Norman, Ted, Joan and Alberta.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Lufkin, Jr., Cindy Owen (Bob), Mary Thompson and Susan Rice (Darrell); his grandchildren, Emily Owen, Jeremy Thompson, Ashley Curry and Samantha Rice; and his siblings, Jerry Lufkin (Gwen) of Buckeye, AZ, Terry Lufkin (Joyce) and Imogene Crow.
