He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clevenger and Laura Clevenger (Parmenter); his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Sorrells; and his brother Larry Clevenger. He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Bass; his stepson Michael McDorman (Chrissy) of Galesburg; his brother Ronald Clevenger of Biggsville; and his grandchildren, Jayme Brown (Jared), Erin Berzel (Christopher) and Jenna McDorman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A masonic service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.
