With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel F. Snider Jr. of East Galesburg, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Snider and Maude Snider Sr. (Betts); his wife Phyllis Hiatt; his stepdaughter Kera Kay Takacs; and his sisters, Eileen Weatherford, Florence Snider and Betty Jean Snider.
He is survived by: his children, Dan L. Snider (Kathy) of Alexis, Bill Snider of East Galesburg and Vicki Johnson of Knoxville; his stepdaughters, Debra O'Hearn of Galesburg, Kelly LaHood (David) of Peoria and Lora Adkisson (Todd) of Roseville; and his sister Mary Ovens of Rock Island. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery-Brimfield Maher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center or WIAR (Western Illinois Animal Rescue).
