He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria and John; and his grandson Joshua Ackerley. He is survived by: his wife Debby; his daughters, Tracey Ackerley (Joe Szucs) and Vicky Blust (Dave); his grandsons, Tyler Ackerley, Jacob Ackerley, Nathan Blust and Noah Blust; and his siblings, Danny Bernas (Halina) and Lola Draeger. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
