Karen Michalski Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Michalski of East Dundee, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Gloede and Mamie Gloede; her husband Paul M. "Mick" Michalski; and her brother Philip G. Gloede. She is survived by: her children, Monica Moose, Michael Michalski, Brenda Bollman (Steve) and Andrea Pertzborn (Steve); her grandchildren, Jacob, Samuel Moose, Emily Carey (Mike), Matthew, Allison, Jack Michalski, Hannah, Max Bollman, Alex and Andrew Pertzborn; her sister Barbara Christopherson (late Roger); and her sisters-in-law, Alexis A. Ward (Thomas) and Mary Michalski (late Jerry). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.
