He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Schmitt and Charlotte Schmitt. He is survived by: his children, Jason Schmitt (Viviana Lopez) and Megan Neitzel (Nick); his grandchildren, Scott, Lucas, Venice, Ryan and Abigail; and his siblings, Agnes Trace, Clement Schmitt (Susan), Catherine Takala, John Schmitt (Nancy Manthe) and Andrew Schmitt. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many good and faithful friends.
