She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Wittlief and Edna Wittlief; her husband Robert E. Bruhn; and her brothers, George and Edward Wittlief.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Wickersheim (William) and Paul Bruhn (Deborah); her grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Michael), Brian Wickersheim (Heather), Amanda Dalessandro (Robert), George Bruhn and Patrick Bruhn (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Cassandra (Mark), Nicholas, Megan, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Carly and Robyn; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Wittlief and Carol Lou Bruhn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
