She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin Robert and Freda G. Shird (Short); her siblings, Ronald, Kathryn and Shelby; and her brother-in-law Joe Schadler.
She is survived by: her husband James C. Schadler; her sons, James C. Schadler, Jr. (Erica) of Denver, CO and Robert J. Schadler (Melissa) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Wendy, Hunter and Ethan; her siblings, Dona Ostrander (Chuck) of Dubuque, IA, Darlene Stuart of Dubuque, IA, Karla Smith (Dale) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Dean Shird of Largo, FL; and her mothers-in-law, Janet Wesenberg of Denver, CO and Judy Syke (Tom) of Menominee, IL.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
