It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn E Sendt of East Dubuque, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blaser and Elizabeth Blaser (Koenig); her husband Darrell J. Sendt; her son Albert "Albie" Sendt; her siblings, Vernon Blaser (Vera), Elaine Schilling (Val) and Joseph Blaser (Stella); her parents-in-law, Albert and Mary Sendt (Jackoniski); and her siblings-in-law, Delbert Sendt (Kay), Mary M. Heim and Duane Sendt.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Schmitt (Dennis) of Dubuque, IA, Patty DeVries (Guy) of East Dubuque, IL, Laura Majerus (Tim) of East Dubuque, IL, Donny Sendt (Jill) of Dubuque, IA and Dean Sendt of East Dubuque, IL; her sister Charleen Sendt of Dubuque, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Heim of East Dubuque, IL. and Ellen Largent (Paul) of East Dubuque, IL.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Marilyn E. Sendt Memorial Fund has been established.
