She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert B. "Gib" Kruser and Eileen Kruser (Neis); her friend Arlene Henry; her brothers-in-law, Pat Petitgout and Michael Petitgout; and her nephews, Steven Hurst, Tony Hurst and Luke Petitgout.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Petitgout; her children, Timothy Petitgout, Laura Leibfried (Scott) and Ted Petitgout (Elaina); her grandchildren, Kaila, Isabella, Mason, Brice, Gracie, Aleya, Ellyana and Ivy Rose; her great grandchildren, Camdyn, Camiya and Aria; and her siblings, Linda Hocking (John), Patricia Ellenz (Frank), Rick Kruser, Barbara McKeon (Randy), Sheila Lange (Dick), Randy Kruser (Debra) and Tom Kruser (Deidre). She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a Karen E. Petitgout memorial fund has been established.
