It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lee Jackson of East Dubuque, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee T. Koenig and Mildred C. Koenig (Schimdt); her husband Fred Jackson; her parents-in-law, Thelma and George Jackson; her granddaughters, Kally Jackson and Danielle Connell (Jackson); and her brothers-in-law, Jim DuCray, John George, Alan Jackson and Terry Jackson.
She is survived by: her friends, Jane, Jeanie and Jan; her children, Deb, Ed Tranel of East Dubuque, IL, Kelly Jackson (Deb) of Peosta, IA, Dane Jackson (Joyce) of East Dubuque, IL, Ann Jackson, Sam Jackson (Moya) of East Moline, IL and Chris Jackson of Dubuque, IA; her sisters, Judy DuCray, Rita Duve (Norm) and Kay George; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Jackson and Patricia Jackson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
