Jean A Kennedy Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert "Butch" Peterson and Rebecca Peterson (Magnusson); her siblings, Ronald Peterson, Bill Peterson, Vonnie Klotzbach (Rob) and Milly Gaulke (Chuck); her siblings-in-law, Alice Overhouse (Ray), Marvin Nading and Clare Hart; her niece Pam Sparrgrove; and her friend Pat Francois.

She is survived by: her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Sheri Kennedy of Prairie du Chien, WI; her grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Claire and Liam; her close friend Tom Francois; her sister Edith Nading of McGregor, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Peterson of McGregor, IA, Doris Hart of Lake Geneva and Maurelia Kennedy of East Dubuque, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (170 Montgomery Ave, East Dubuque, IL 61025).

In lieu of flowers, a Jean Kennedy Memorial Fund has been established.
