We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 89, Bernetta F Cogan of East Dubuque, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Schroeder (Wallenhorst) and George Schroeder; her husband Joseph E Cogan; her grandson Shirley Cogan; her sisters, Rosie Peiffer (Joe), Joan Timmerman (Jim) and Joyce Kliebenstein (Delbert); and her sister-in-law Judy Schroeder.
She is survived by: her son Joseph J Cogan (Mary) of Hazel Green, WI; her granddaughter Britt Cogan (Tim Crall) of Mammoth Lakes, CA; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Bram and Leah Crall; her grandson Troy Cogan (Amy Strasburg) of Overland Park, KS; her great grandchildren, Russell and Brandon Cogan; and her brother Jerry Schroeder of Dickeyville, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
