With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley R. Sager of East Carondelet, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Andy Sager; and her parents, Raymond Ross and Dorcas Ross. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Drago (Greg) of Oakville, MO, Cindy McBride (Gary) of Dupo, IL and Lisa Peterson (Jerry) of Valmeyer, IL; her sister Clara Hosler of Cahokia, IL; and her grandchildren, Brian, Beth, Jess, Alex, Kylie and Cory. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
