She is survived by: her husband Keith Hogeland; her sons, Michael Hogeland and Jeremiah Lee Hogeland (Brandi); her brother James Koenig; her sister-in-law Penny Koenig; and her grandchildren, Machayla Williamson and Alex Hahn. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren in addition to extended family and many friends.
Joyce made the generous gift of donating her body to science.
