It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Norman Sharp of East Alton, Illinois, born in Keenes, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Willie C. (Rosa E.); his siblings, Lloyd Sharp (Ruby), Cloyd Sharp (Ruth), Clyde Sharp, James Sharp (Sybil), Leonard Sharp (Elsie), Delbert Sharp, Murle Sharp, Pearl Sharp, Oscar Sharp, Mildred Hickey (Berle), Alma Jourdan (Charlie), Opal Ellis (Loren), Clara Coil (Pierce), Rosa Mae Miller (Warren), Edna Fae Sharp, Wanda Sharp, Fonda Sharp and Glenna Boozer (Joe); and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Withrow and Evan Curry.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Sharp; his daughter Renee Sharp of East Alton, Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Curry of Mt. Vernon, Renda Fitzjerrells (Jimmie) of Mt. Vernon and Socorro Withrow of Mundelein, Illinois. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
