He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark J. Bethel and Edith Ida Bethel (Wahle); and his siblings, Esther Williams, Howard Bethel, Dorothy Etter and Rosemary Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Warren Bethel (Cindy) of Chicago, IL and Don Bethel (Ellen) of Rosewood Heights; his grandchildren, Bryan and Deborah; his son Roger Bethel (Ann) of Liberty, MO; his grandchildren, Mark and Nicole; and also Edith Herman of Edwardsville.
In lieu of flowers or donations, they ask that you please give of yourself at least 43 hours (30 minutes for each year of Robert's life) in community service to a charity or organization of your choice.
