He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Durbin and Lillian Virginia Durbin (Smith); and his brother-in-law Charles Buffington. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Delp; his children, Tracy Rucker (Tim) of Arkansas, Tina Shewmake (Mike) of East Alton, Jeremy Durbin of Bethalto, Jeff Durbin (Tera) of Bethalto, Julie Eaker of East Alton and Jason Eaker (Angela) of Fosterburg; his siblings, Gina Buffington of East Alton and Chris Durbin of East Alton; his grandchildren, Alexandria Hinkle (Brandon), Erin Unverzagt (Dustin), Haley Shewmake, Isabella Durbin, Olivia Durbin, Marlee Durbin and Caleb Hovis; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Ella.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes - Bethalto (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
