He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Shetley and Mildred Shetley (Rickman). He is survived by: his significant other Mary Scott of East Alton; his children, Michael Shetley of Wood River, Melinda and Ryan Beuttel of Brighton; his grandchildren, Garrett Beuttel, Bram Beuttel and Recia Beuttel; and his cousins, Berdine Meyers, Betty Cope, Paul and Jim Shetley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
