She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Odia Bain and Myrtle Bain (Grant); her spouse Norvel Gleason; her children, James D. Gleason of East Alton, Jesse A. Gleason of East Alton and Katheryn Gleason of Wood River; and her siblings, Rudy Bain of Pana, Alta Gleason of Roxana, Joyce Bain of Pana and JoAnn Ballard of Brighton.
