We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2019, at the age of 96, Lavern Valie Elledge (East Alton, Illinois), born in Nebo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemuel G. Elledge and Ratie V. Elledge (Sheppard); his wife Claire Elledge (Gillespie); his siblings, Leona Benz, Eva Hurley, Thelma Brangenberg, Elma Becker, Kenneth, Virgil and Everett Elledge; his daughter-in-law Joan Elledge; and his grandsons, Mark Elledge, Jr. and Anthony Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Elledge of Greensboro, Georgia, Mark Elledge (Vickie) of Pearland, Marcia Dawson (Bob) of Batchtown, Scott Elledge (Lynne) of Pearland, Todd Elledge (Tonya) of Saudi Arabia, Steven Starnes of Alton and Dennis Dillinger of Wyoming; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Boeve, Brett Elledge (Jessica), Jason Barnett, Stacie Lampo (Michael), Mark Elledge III, Michael Elledge (Laura), Michelle Dawson, Kam Gilleland (Greg), Brie Johnson (Sam), Kristen Ellis, Patrick, Adam, Brooke Elledge, Joshua Hanson, Zachary Dobbins, Jessica, Rebecca, Cathy and Steven Starnes. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
