She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Johnson and Lillian Mae Johnson (Easley); her husband Richard C. "Dick" Dawson; her children, Robert Dawson (Jeri) of Alton and Sharon Thomas (Roger) of Sullivan, MO; her siblings, Joe Johnson (Kate) of Maryville and Fay Etta Bugg of Springfield; and her children, Linda Sue Abbott and Richard Dawson Jr.. She was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
