He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Perez and Edna Perez (Davitz); his son Richard "Rick" Perez; and his sister Anita Killebrew. He is survived by: his wife Paula Perez of Rosewood Heights; his children, Anne Slaughter, James Perez, Ericka Cole and Richie Perez; and his sister Vicky White. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
