It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Shelton of East Alton, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Shelton and Katherine "Dorothy" Shelton (Davis); his stepfather Clifford Reining; and his siblings, Bob Shelton and Dora Baird.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Reynolds; his children, Kimberly Jo Shelton (Kevin Gleason) of East Alton, Jeff Shelton of Bethalto and Kevin Shelton (Teri) of Cottage Hills; his grandchildren, Tyler Joe Shelton, Maegen Harris (Jake), Matt Shelton (Kayla), Sarah Brooks, Ashley Burton (Darrell), Christian Shelton, Erin Austin (Brandon) and Sara Evans (Jordan); and his sister Jean Isringhausen of Jerseyville. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
