He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Burns and Minnie Rogers Burns (Rodgers); his wife Sharon Sheff Burns; and his siblings, Roger L., Royal G., Garland G. Burns, May Moore and Sarah Williams.
He is survived by: his child Jackie King (Keith) of Selma, AL; his grandchildren, Julie, Kelly and Casey; his child Billie Hoxsie (Rob) of Elsah, IL; his grandchildren, Jackie, Chad, Brandy and Crystal; his son Mark Burns of Cottage Hills; his grandchildren, Mark, Michael, David and Sammy; his daughter Lawana Hunciker of Cottage Hills, IL; his grandchildren, Shane, Jacky, Travis, Jamie and Otis; his great great grandchild David Burns (Susie); and also, Devanee Myles (Tevin), Leighton, Aaliyah, Cheyenne, Chelsea Burns, Keisha Warix (Anthony), Tanner, Hunter, Cole Vinyard (Morgan), Ryot, Kasen, Wes, Sherri Selph (Dave), Talon Selph, Maizie Kay, Myla Baldaino (Vincent) and Harper Lynn. He is also survived by children and grandchildren provided him with 31 great grandchildren.
