He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Warren and Grace Ellen Slaughter (Daugherty); his son Matthew Slaughter of East Alton; his stepson Randy Pogmore; and his brothers, Daryl Slaughter (Dee) of East Alton and Carl Slaughter (Margaret) of Bethalto.
